as the tittle implies, little yet magnificent.
It had always been the little and minor things that tells u most about a person.
and its the minor things that u most about the attitude and character of a person.
a simple action, thought, goes a long way.
yes, use one's heart when u treat people.
use ur brain when dealing with yourself.
I had to agree that no one is perfect and there's no way that you can please everyone u met.
But by looking at the minor things in life, conflicts could have resolved and misunderstandings could have been cleared and perhaps world peace.
when dealing with people,had u put in that extra effort to understand people?
that simple yet meticulous thought often goes a long way.
likewise, there's bound to a reason for every action.
just like why some people are so rebelious?Maybe an appropriate reason is that they want to gain attention of their parents,who were so busy with their work.
Think again: In real life, how many u had once met, looks into the minor things of life?
now,remember all those touching, heart-warming,meaningful or worth-reflecting emails that flood ur inbox? Perhaps its really the time that we slow down to look a the minor things in life. Forget about all the technology,fashion,material needs,wants,etc. Pause or take a halt to see,feel and to reach out.Wouldn't life be much simpler? Wouldn't u find urself fortunate? (Though volunteerism might not be the key.)
my mum often remind me one thing:
never compare to those who are much more fortunate than u.
compare against thsoe who are less fortunate than you.
u'll find that ur life or predicament isn't as bad as it seems.
And this statement remains rooted in me till this day.
Lastly,ask urself this question: for those who had a worse predicament than you, they make it eventually.So,why can't you?
look at the small hero from the sichuan earthquake (that little boy who stood next to yao ming on Beijing Olympic Games opening ceremony) He saved two lives. Yes,a little boy at such a young age saved 2 lives!
STORY:
He was a class representative.He managed to survive the sichuan earthquake. However, he went back to save his classmates. He saved 2 of them. He said. " Why should I still be a class representative if all my classmates died in the quake? "
see,even the actions of a small boy touches people.
Thats' why i really hoped that its good to return to those innocent days.
No power struggles, no greed, etc . Wouldn't this world be peaceful and full of warmth?
