At times i just feel that i'm useless.
Yes,even i had to agree to wad my pri sch tcher said, you get busy as you get older. Seriously, i'm termed as a "busy woman" by many of you (i know i know).Amidst of all the hectic life of mine, had i ever took a break at look what's around me? Yes i did,but the break or the slow down of footsteps is still far too fast.

In matters of being considerate, how far did i had really went? Reaching home rather late and this kinda happened from the start of this academic year. Just when each day i reached home, parents and my brother were about to go to sleep. Sometimes, i hang out, and reach home just like few minutes before midnight. My parents would stay up just to wait for me to ensure that i reach home in a piece, despite the fact that they have to work the next day and by right they should be sleeping at that time. There was even a time that i hardly even argued with my brother for a week(this was terribly weird for me) as he had gone to bed as he's having lessons the next day. And the worst part was, my parents are that young anymore, age's catching up on them,so their health and fitness isn't as good as the past..I tried my very best to reach home early,so that they needn't stay up late and hence they don't have to waste their rest time waiting for me to return safe.

Its just a mixed feeling. I like to go out, but i dun wan them to worry nor stay up late because of me. I wondered, and wondered,i'm helping out lesser at home these days. Age's catching up on them-by right i should be helping out more in the houshold. And for this holidays i'll be having my ITP, I have no idea on how i could help to further reduce my parents' burden in anyway or so. I'm feeling so helpless and speechless right now..

My mum's eye report says that she had some problems and she needs to go down get her report tomorrow. She initially wanted me to accompany her, fearing that the doctor is a non-english speaking one and she have to rush for work thereafter. Then she asked me not to go as she knew that i'd be totally worned out after exams, doubts that i'll be able to wake up at like 6am in the morning, and the fact that i have a letter to rush and i'm going out tomorrow. I wondered what should i say-all i told her was that, please leave a huge tub of clothes for me to iron tomorrow morning!. There I was, touched, helpless and lost for words.

Sometimes, i had to agree that no matter how much your parents nag at you, they had you as their main concern at heart. Ask yourself this, who was the one that work day and night just to put food at your table, give you a roof to live in? All I know was, parents or every single person have their own way of expressing their love.

Who was the one that always brew you herbal tea when you are having exams / the weather's hot?
Who were the ones that stayed up late each night awaiting for your return?
Who are the ones that always give you words of encourgaement whenever you felt like giving up?
Who are the ones that always cheer you up whenever you are down?
Who are the ones that gave you strength when you were weak?
Who are the ones that give you the confidence you seriously needed/lacked?
Who are the ones that........?

Whatever it is, you know who they are.
Learn to express your gratitude, never take what people are doing for granted!
